A Greater Power
1 John 4:4
“Either the Adam in me is tempted—in which case we fall. Or the Christ in us is tempted—in which case Satan is bound to fall.”

Standing alone without the grace of God is never a place of safety and security. In fact, it is the place where we are tempted and seduced. For such a place is usually the manifestation of our pride and pretentious self-sufficiency. The place of safety, on the other hand, is to live by the promises of God and the empowering of His Spirit. There we will also be tempted but need not be seduced, for Christ the Victor will strengthen us to withstand the enemy.
Meditation Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world.
