Vision and Mission

As I am embracing all of who I am and what God is doing in my life, this site is representative of the next place God is taking me. There are things that God has placed on my heart, and He continues to do so every day.  He gives me answers to my questions, solutions to my problems, and hope on days when I seem to have none.  I know my trials will help others because I am God’s tool.

Mission
At God’s Door was founded in prayer and as such our main mission is to intercede. In addition to prayer, we design training, workshops, and seminars that allow believers to:
  • Share victories and defeats for the sole purpose of ministering to others.
  • Learn, gain understanding, and receive information that will provide guidance and be beneficial for the Christian journey.
  • Provide support to any person, ministry, and/or church. They must know they do not have to go through every trial alone.
  • Use our success and failures to help others learn and possibly not have to go through what we went through.
  • Give our testimonies to provide insight and encouragement. What God has done for one, He can do for others.

Ready to answer when He calls.

To Intercede

Scripture declares, “So, first and foremost, I urge God’s people to pray. They should make their requests, petitions, and thanksgivings on behalf of all humanity”. (1 Timothy 2:1). Through intercession we receive apostolic order, prophetic guidance, and breakthrough as the Lord leads. We pray the word of God and speak the heart of God in an effort to fulfill God’s desire and commands as we guide His people into obedience.

To Instruct

The great commission given by Our Lord is to “Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you.” This is not the mission of merely the church organization, or of its ministers, but is a mission for each and every member of the body of Christ.

To Exhort

True worshipers worship the Father in spirit and truth. Worship should not just be an activity, it should be a characteristic.  Submitting all that we have in song, praise and prayer. Every believer should live to be used by God in any way He sees fit. Worship is founded in and driven by relationship with the Father. Endeavors to live a life that is a testimony to the God you worship.

To Preach

The gospel is the most effective means of reaching the non-Churched. What is the gospel? It is the good news of Jesus Christ! Preaching allows us to lift Jesus and reach the lost. Preaching allows us to reach a every generation, every nation, tribe, and language. The mission of preaching is not only to reach those who are like us, but to seek out those who are not.

Core Values

My highest priorities, deeply held beliefs, and fundamental driving forces.

Intercession

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;    Ephesians 6:18 (KJV)                                

Praying for students, classes, direction and guidance. Prayer changes us. As we submit to the will of God through prayer, the change in us affects who we are and allows us to see God working in our situation, circumstances and relationships.

Worship

And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.    2 Chronicles 20:22 (KJV)

Created to worship. Worship is the way we war against the enemy. Worship exalts God above all things and confounds the devil.

Study

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.    2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)

The foundation for all that we do is in the word. It is impossible to hear God, respond to God or do work that is pleasing to God without knowing the word of God.

Evangelism

Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.    Luke 10:2 (KJV)

We show that we are disciples of Christ through love. We accomplish our purpose by sharing the love of Christ. Seeking, bringing and teaching the lost.

Kingdom Ethics!

Core values are the traits and qualities that I consider not just worthwhile, but necessary. They define beliefs and become the seed that plants relationships, in this city, in this state and in the world. Because of the core values held by this ministry, many will be trained, and their lives will be changed. Those who will come to be a part of this ministry will be touched every day by the power of God and because of the purpose and destiny He has on this ministry.
