Christ’s Honor
2 Corinthians 4:5
“In all that we say and do, we are concerned with nothing but Christ and his honour among men.”

In proclaiming the relevance of Christ for our world, we need to make sure that it is Christ’s message that we are sharing and living and not simply our convenient version of it. If we live the convenient version, Christ’s name will not be honored, no matter what we say. If we live the costly version, His name will be honored, though it may not be understood and embraced by others. The central issue regarding Christ’s honor will always be linked to the way that we represent Him in the world.
Thought
Most people do not have a problem with Jesus of Nazareth, but they do have difficulty with the church which claims to represent Him on earth.
