God’s Presence in Our World
Hebrews 11:6
“Lord Jesus, when I am tempted because I cannot see God and his power and love in this world, let me firmly look upon you, for you are my Lord and my God.”

We will probably never see enough of God’s presence and action in our world to fully satisfy us, for His action is hidden as much as it is open to view. He is there when we don’t expect Him and He is ahead of us, calling us into His will and direction for our lives. It is therefore by faith that we live, experiencing touches of His presence, touching the edges of His ways, embracing His promises, and longing for the day when our faith will eventually be sight.
Thought
Even when we see God’s action in our world, we will only see with the eyes of faith.
