Knowledge and Transformation
Hosea 11:1
“But to be known by God means to become a new man.”
—ACT AND BEING
When we truly know God and are known by Him, then such knowledge is never formal or theoretical. Rather it is personal, existential, and transforming. In other words, we cannot know God and still remain the same. And God’s revelation of Himself to us is never to leave us where we are, but to move us to adopt a new vision of life. More specifically, God’s knowledge of us is never distant. It is personal and practical. It is a knowledge by which He expresses His amazing love for us.
Thought
To be known by God is to be loved by Him, for true knowledge comes only to the one who sees through the eyes of love.
