One Another
Romans 15:2
“We speak to one another on the basis of the help we both need. We admonish one another to go the way that Christ bids us to go.”

While we like to make distinctions in the Christian community regarding the strong and weak, the mature and the immature, those who are spiritual and those who are less so, the reality is that we all sin, lose our way, resist the Spirit, fail in our love toward our brothers and sisters, fail in our commitment to our neighbor, fail to listen to God’s direction, rationalize, hide from the truth, and neglect some of our responsibilities. Thus we all stand in need of God’s grace and forgiveness. And we all need each other’s help, encouragement, and challenge as we walk the road of following Christ.
Prayer
Lord, in my walk of faith help me to realize my limitations, acknowledge my wrong-doing, and seek the encouragement of the least of my brothers and sisters. Amen.
