God as Redeemer and Creator
Psalm 19:1-3
“It is always the God who has already revealed himself to his people in his word who is said to be known as the Creator of the world.”

From the observation of nature itself, it is unlikely that one comes to faith in the Creator, although nature’s spectacular beauty could lead one to praise and adoration. The movement is seldom from nature to the God of the Bible. It is usually the other way around. From the God of Scripture, we hear of the Creator who is also our Redeemer. It is our appreciation of God as the Creator which should spur us on to care for our world.
Thought
Where we only know God as Redeemer and fail to appreciate Him as Creator, we may be deflected from part of our task in this world, namely the care of God’s earth.
