Christ the Bridge Builder
Ephesians 2:14
“There are, therefore, not two spheres, but only the one sphere of the realisation of Christ, in which the reality of God and the reality of the world are united.”

In Jesus, that which was divided potentially becomes one. Jesus unites Jew and Gentile, poor and rich, male and female. He brings together the present and the future. In Him, heaven and earth will be united. He draws the church out of those in the world and sends them back into the world for works of service. He makes our worldliness spiritual and our spirituality relevant to the world. Jesus thus builds bridges where previously there was a chasm or seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
Meditation
To bring together into a colorful unity that which was previously separated and divided is nothing but a miracle.
