Flee
1 Corinthians 6:18
“There is no resistance to Satan other than flight…. Flee—that can indeed only mean flee to that place where you find protection and help, flee to the Crucified.”

All of us are vulnerable to certain kinds of temptation. For some it is greed, for some power, and for others lust. We are usually well aware of our particular weaknesses. One constructive form of action is to stay away from that which tempts us, but this may force many to virtually withdraw from life. Therefore, a more constructive move is not just to flee, but to flee to Christ for His purging and empowering.
Prayer
Lord, I come to You acknowledging my weakness and vulnerability. I pray not only for Your protection, but more particularly for Your strengthening and transformation. Amen.
