Worship God Alone
Romans 14:6-8
“The law and life are not worthy of adoration, for they are creatures like all others, but the one who is worthy is the Lord of the law and the Lord of the living.”

There are those who worship life itself and make much of nature and human creativity or beauty. There are others who magnify human achievement with its laws, ideas, social institutions, or scientific technology. The Christian is to appreciate everything thankfully, but to worship God alone. Sadly, Christians often, in worshiping God, appear to reject everything else. This narrowmindedness has nothing to do with the Bible’s vision of life. There we see a love for God leading to a passion for life, beauty, creativity, and responsibility.
Thought
When we acknowledge God as the Creator and Sustainer of our life and world, we can also appreciate all that is good in our world.
